Plans & billing

rickub is free to start. Paid plans add more private repositories, seats, CI minutes, and organization security features.

What each plan includes

Every plan includes hosted repositories, merge requests, and CI. Higher plans raise the limits and unlock organization features:

  • Private repositories — how many private repos you can own.
  • Seats — how many members an organization can have.
  • CI minutes — monthly compute allowance for Actions runs. On the Free plan this allowance, and the AI-review allowance, are pooled per account across every free namespace you own; a paid namespace has its own pool.
  • SSO (OpenID Connect), audit log, and SIEM forwarding — on the plans that include them.

See the full, up-to-date matrix on the pricing page. Personal accounts and organizations each have a free tier and a paid one: a personal plan is flat-rate for the one account, an organization plan is priced per seat.

How to change plan

Plans attach to a namespace — your personal account or an organization. Open that namespace's Settings → Billing to choose or change a plan, and to cancel. Billed monthly in EUR: flat for a personal namespace, per seat for an organization.

Cancelling keeps full access until the end of the current period; after it, the namespace moves to the Free plan and any private repositories above the Free limit are locked read-only until you go public or re-subscribe. No refund is issued for the remaining time, and you can resume any time before the period ends.

Payment methods & invoices

Plans are paid by card, billed monthly in EUR. Your bank may show a small temporary authorization hold the first time a card is added — it is released by the bank automatically and is not a charge.

Business customers keep a billing identity: the legal entity name and address every invoice names. French companies add a SIRET; companies elsewhere in the EU add a VAT number, which rickub verifies online against the EU's VIES register at each save. An EU business with a valid VAT number is invoiced under the reverse charge; customers outside the EU are outside the scope of French VAT.

Every charge produces an invoice with its VAT treatment spelled out per line — see Settings → Billing → Invoices on the namespace.

Quotas & limits

The numbers a plan sets, and where to watch them:

  • Storage — git objects, LFS files and container-registry bytes share ONE pooled quota per namespace (Free 5 GiB; Team 50 GiB + 10 GiB per seat; Enterprise 250 GiB + 50 GiB per seat). Reads are never blocked; only writes are gated past the pool.
  • CI minutes — a monthly allowance per namespace, with large runners metered at 2×. On the Free plan the allowance is pooled across every free namespace you own.
  • AI code reviews — a monthly allowance on every plan, pooled like CI minutes on the Free plan.
  • Private repositories and seats — the per-plan limits shown on the pricing page.
