Your public profile, your avatar, your sessions, and the notification and privacy preferences that decide what reaches you.

Your public profile#

Your profile page at rickub.com/{your-handle} is what other people see: your display name, bio, avatar, and your public repositories and organizations. Edit the name, bio and email under Settings → Profile.

Your handle — the @name in every URL you own — is fixed for now; it cannot be renamed from the profile page. Choose it carefully at sign-up.

Email changes take effect once you confirm the verification link we send to the new address; the address is also what Verified commits matches your GPG key against.

Avatar#

Upload an avatar from Settings → Profile and it appears next to your commits, issues, merge requests and comments — served from rickub itself at /avatars/{handle}. No account yet renders a generated one.

Sessions#

Settings → Sessions lists every browser currently signed in as you — device, approximate IP, when it was last seen. The current session is marked; everything else can be signed out individually. If a device is lost or a session looks wrong, sign it out there (and, if you are being thorough, rotate your password — see Security for what a reset revokes).

Notification preferences#

Settings → Notifications decides, per category — mentions, review requests, issue and merge-request activity — whether you get an in-app notification, an email, or both. The in-app list lives behind the bell in the site header.

Privacy & data#

Under Settings → Privacy & data you can request an export of your data and a deletion of your account, and control whether product analytics run for you — the same choice the consent banner gives, kept in one place so the two can never disagree.
