Acceptable Use Policy
This policy keeps rickub safe and useful for everyone. It applies to everything you host, run and do on the service, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Don’t break the law or others’ rights
You may not use rickub to store, share or run anything that:
- infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- is unlawful, defamatory, or that harasses, threatens or endangers others;
- constitutes child sexual abuse material or promotes terrorism or violence;
- contains malware, or is designed to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
2. Don’t abuse the platform
- No spam, phishing, or deceptive content.
- No crypto-mining, denial-of-service, or using CI for workloads unrelated to building and testing your code.
- Don’t probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission (see our disclosure process).
- Don’t circumvent quotas, rate limits, or access controls, or use the service to relay traffic to third parties.
3. Secrets and sensitive data
Don’t commit other people’s secrets or special-category personal data you have no lawful basis to hold. Use the secrets features rather than hard-coding credentials.
4. Fair use of shared resources
CI minutes, storage and bandwidth are shared. Automated or excessive use that degrades the service for others may be rate-limited or suspended.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach this policy — proportionately and, where practicable, with notice and a chance to remedy. Serious or illegal abuse may be reported to the authorities. Report abuse to support@rickub.com.
