Memdeklaro Self-Declaration of Identity

Memdeklaro is a self-declaration of identity - a way for someone to express a self-chosen name, photograph and personal ties without third parties.

Self-declarations can be expressed as a physical card, digital representation or JSON-LD verifiable credential (after the user self-signs it).

The self-declaration includes the following:

Self-chosen first name
Self-chosen surname
Declared date of birth
Photograph
Signature
Optional personal note (e.g. Conscientious Objector)

The generator works client-side and never sends any data to a server. There is no registry of self-declarations. Self-declaration is free of charge and does not require third party approval.

How to use

Open the file index.html in your browser or run a local HTTP server on localhost and navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8080/index.html

Fill out the self-declaration form and press Generate. Then your self-declaration will be ready to download or print immediately.

Alternatively, you can open the files template_front.jpg and template_back.jpg in any image editor such as Photoshop or GIMP and add your details manually, without using the generator.

What you get

A Memdeklaro self-declaration in JPEG format to print or use digitally - memdeklaro_front.jpg and memdeklaro_back.jpg
A JSON-LD verifiable credential that you can self-sign with your DID key as a self-attested verifiable credential
A PDF that includes your self-declaration in graphical format and as a QR code
