cas (temps-a-part, plusieurs-equipes, taches-partagees).

2+title = "In zwei Kollektiven gleichzeitig erfassen"
4+weight = 2
5++++
6+
7+## Die Situation
8+
21+
22+## Was man in der Anwendung tut
23+
24+Ein Team pro Kollektiv, mehr nicht. Es gibt zwei Wege hinein.
25+
30+will auch nachsehen.
31+
34+
35+{{<shot name="equipes" alt="Das Blatt „Team wechseln“ über dem Hinzufügen-Bildschirm: Maison, zwei Mitglieder, angehakt, und Asso du quartier, drei Mitglieder." lang={lang} legende="Die Pille in der Kopfzeile öffnet die Liste deiner Teams." />}}
36+
45+
46+## Was ein Team wirklich trennt
47+
64+
65+{{<shot name="stats-asso" alt="Statistik des Teams Asso du quartier: Säulen für noa, camille und sacha, mit den Kategorien Buvette, Communication und Réunions." lang={lang} legende="Eine Vereinswoche, zu dritt." />}}
66+
76+
77+{{<extrait name="x-invitation" alt="Erhaltene Einladung: „noa lädt dich in das Team Copropriété ein“, mit den Schaltflächen Annehmen und Ablehnen." lang={lang} legende="Eine offene Einladung, oben in den Einstellungen." />}}
78+
80+dich in sechs Monaten erneut einlädt.

2+title = "Tracking time in two groups at once"
3+description = "The household on one side, the neighbourhood association on the other, on the same account and the same phone."
4+weight = 2
5++++
6+
7+## The situation
8+
9+The household time is already tracked between two people. Next to that, there is
10+the neighbourhood association, which runs a car boot sale and where you lend a
11+hand at the drinks stand.
12+
13+The two have nothing in common. Not the same people, not the same categories,
14+not the same questions. And above all no wish to see the washing-up and the
15+association meetings in the same chart: the comparison means nothing, and the
16+total means even less.
17+
18+So this is not about separating two subjects inside the same group of people, as
19+a category group would do, but about tracking with two different groups of
20+people. That is what teams are for.
21+
22+## What you do in the app
23+
24+One team per group, and that is all. There are two ways in.
25+
26+Either somebody invites you by your username: a card appears at the top of your
27+settings with Accept and Decline, and a pill stays on the Settings tab until you
28+answer. Accepting makes you join the team and switches to it right away, since
29+if you accept, you want to go and look.
30+
31+Or you create the team yourself from the settings, which also switches to it,
32+and you invite the others afterwards.

35+
36+To move from one to the other, you tap the green pill at the top left, the one
37+that permanently shows the active team. It is visible on every screen, so you
38+can check at a glance before recording: the only real mistake possible here is
39+counting your washing-up in the association.
40+
41+The active team is remembered by the device, not by the account. The phone can
42+stay on the household while the computer in the living room stays on the
43+association, and in practice you rarely switch.
44+
45+## What a team really separates
46+
47+The separation is complete. Each team has its own categories, entries,
48+statistics, tasks and even colours. Time recorded on one side does not exist on
49+the other, and nothing ever adds up across two teams. The only thing they share
50+is your account.
51+
52+Inside a team, nobody is in charge: every member can rename the team, invite
53+somebody, create a category, take or correct a task, without asking permission.
54+It is the only honest model for a group of volunteers, where there is no boss at
55+the drinks stand either.
56+
57+The only boundary is the one around entries: you only edit your own.
58+
59+## What it looks like
60+

65+
66+It is a screen you look at together, and the conversation it opens is rarely
67+about who did the most. It is more often about what the drinks stand cost in
68+hours for a profit nobody had ever measured. The tool settles nothing, it puts a
69+shared object in the middle of the table and keeps the discussion from starting
70+with “I feel like”.
71+
72+Nothing stops you from having a third team, for the building's residents say. An
73+invitation waiting for an answer simply stays there, without insisting.
74+
75+{{<extrait name="x-invitation" alt="Received invitation card: “noa invites you to join the team Copropriété”, with Accept and Decline buttons." lang={lang} legende="A pending invitation, at the top of the settings." />}}
76+
77+Declining warns nobody and is not final: somebody only has to invite you again
78+in six months. Leaving a team works the same way, with one reservation, you
79+always belong to at least one team and the button disappears when only one is
80+left.

78+in six months. Leaving a team works the same way, with one reservation, you
79+always belong to at least one team and the button disappears when only one is
80+left.

24+

17+
21+
22+## Was man in der Anwendung tut
23+

Was die Liste bringt,

2+title = "Keeping a shared task list"
3+description = "Knowing who is on what, with no duplicate and no alarm, and letting the app work out the rhythm."
4+weight = 3
5++++
6+
7+## The situation
8+
9+Some things keep coming back: taking the bins out, cleaning the fridge, tidying
10+the bedroom. The whiteboard in the kitchen never lasts more than a month, and
11+shared list apps end up ringing at the wrong moment.
12+
13+But the real problem is neither forgetting nor reminders. It is doing the same
14+thing twice, or neither of you doing it, each convinced the other did. What is
15+missing is not an alarm, it is knowing who is on it right now.
16+
17+Second thing, these tasks come back at a rhythm nobody really knows. Every week,
18+every ten days? No idea, and deciding on a period in advance always leads to a
19+list full of imaginary delays.
20+
21+## What you do in the app
22+
23+The Tasks tab holds two blocks. A task waits in “To do” until somebody takes it;
24+at that moment it moves up into “In progress” with that person's name. That is
25+the whole mechanism, and that displayed name is what prevents the duplicate.
26+
27+{{<shot name="taches" alt="Tasks screen: In progress block with “Nettoyer le frigo” taken by sacha and “Ranger la chambre d'Alix” taken by camille, then the To do block." lang={lang} legende="In progress at the top, to do below, and who is holding what." />}}
28+
29+The lock is real: while a task is in progress, only the person who took it can
30+change it. This is not a button greyed out by politeness, it is the database
31+refusing, and two phones pressing at the same time cannot both win. It is not a
32+commitment either: a Release button puts the task back up for grabs, with no
33+explanation to give.
34+
35+{{<extrait name="x-todo-carte" alt="Card of a task in progress: category colour dot, task name, the words “taken by sacha” and the date." lang={lang} />}}
36+
37+You can also write somebody's name on a task, and the form warns you right away
38+that this is optional and that others can still take it. An assignment means
39+“this concerns you in particular”, for instance because you are the one with the
40+paediatrician appointment. It never means “I am ordering you to”: the
41+application has no way of giving an order. Each block has its own “My tasks”
42+switch to show only what concerns you.
43+
44+## Finishing, and letting the app propose the rhythm
45+
46+Marking a task done opens a sheet asking two questions at once, and you are free
47+to say no to both.
48+
49+{{<shot name="tache-effectuee" alt="Task done screen for “Sortir les poubelles”: a Record time switch with a minute counter, a Reschedule switch with the proposed date and the note “observed rhythm: roughly every 8 days”." lang={lang} legende="Two proposals, and the right to say no to both." />}}
50+
51+The first: is it worth an entry? A switch, a minute counter, and the entry goes
52+into the task's category, under your name. Taking the bins out does not deserve
53+a line; cleaning the fridge does, because a month later the statistics will show
54+that the housework was not as evenly shared as everyone thought.
55+
56+The second: does it come back? The app proposes a date and explains its
57+reasoning, “observed rhythm: roughly every 8 days”. It looks at the median gap
58+between the previous times, not the average, which makes it immune to the two
59+weeks of holiday when nobody did anything. Because the reasoning is shown, it
60+can be argued with: you may decide eight days is too short in winter and correct
61+the date by hand.
62+
63+Rescheduling does not create a new task, it is the same row going back down into
64+“To do” with a new date. Its history stays attached, and that history is what
65+will make the next proposal more accurate.
66+
67+## What it looks like day to day
68+
69+A list that does not shout. No red, no notification, no delay displayed as a
70+reproach: a task dated nine days ago calmly reads “since 7 August”. The
71+“Upcoming” block stays folded until you go and look for it.
72+
73+Nothing here promises to save you time, and that is deliberate. What the list
74+brings is knowing at any moment who is holding what, and no longer arguing about
75+the rhythm from impressions.

27+{{<shot name="taches" alt="Tasks screen: In progress block with “Nettoyer le frigo” taken by sacha and “Ranger la chambre d'Alix” taken by camille, then the To do block." lang={lang} legende="In progress at the top, to do below, and who is holding what." />}}
34+
35+{{<extrait name="x-todo-carte" alt="Card of a task in progress: category colour dot, task name, the words “taken by sacha” and the date." lang={lang} />}}
48+
49+{{<shot name="tache-effectuee" alt="Task done screen for “Sortir les poubelles”: a Record time switch with a minute counter, a Reschedule switch with the proposed date and the note “observed rhythm: roughly every 8 days”." lang={lang} legende="Two proposals, and the right to say no to both." />}}

7+## La situation
8+

61+

12+

2+title = "Tracking one subject apart from the rest"
3+description = "Following the time spent with the child without dropping it into the same pot as the cleaning or the cooking."
4+weight = 1
5++++
6+
7+## The situation
8+
9+The household already tracks its time with the categories you would expect:
10+Cuisine, Courses, Linge, Ménage, Administratif. That works well for what it is,
11+seeing how the chores are shared.
12+
13+The wish that comes next is of another kind: knowing how much time is really
14+spent with the child. Not looking after them, with them. Reading a story,
15+building blocks on the floor, going to the park for no other reason than being
16+there.
17+
18+Recording that time takes nothing special, three more categories are enough,
19+Jeux, Histoires and Balade. The problem is not the entry, it is the reading.
20+That time has nothing to do with housework: housework gets shared out, you look
21+at who does too much, you rebalance; time spent reading a story is not shared
22+out and is nobody's fault. And it crushes everything else on the way, because
23+fifteen hours of presence in the same column as two hours of laundry makes the
24+laundry invisible.
25+
26+That is exactly what category groups answer.
27+
28+## What you do in the app
29+
30+Categories are created from the Add tab, through the “Manage categories” link.
31+The same screen carries a Groups section right at the bottom, with one field per
32+category.
33+
34+You just write the same group name, here “Temps avec Alix”, on the three
35+categories concerned. The field completes on its own as soon as the name exists
36+somewhere in the team.
37+
38+{{<extrait name="x-groupe-carte" alt="Card of the “Temps avec Alix” group: three categories, Balade, Histoires and Jeux, each with a cross to remove it from the group." lang={lang} legende="Three categories, one group name, and that is all." />}}
39+
40+There is no group creation screen, no configuration, no checkbox: the group
41+exists because categories carry its name, and it disappears when the last one
42+leaves it. Nothing moves in the data, the entries already recorded stay on their
43+category, they only change panel.
44+
45+## What it looks like
46+
47+The team statistics go back to what they were, the cooking, the shopping, the
48+laundry, the cleaning, the paperwork. A pill appears at the top of the screen
49+for each group, next to the team's own.
50+
51+{{<shot name="stats" alt="Statistics of the Maison team: the Maison and Temps avec Alix pills at the top, then the weekly charts with the household categories." lang={lang} legende="The team panel, without the subject that took up all the room." />}}
52+
53+The group pill opens a whole panel, with exactly the same charts and the same
54+columns per person, but talking only about the three categories of the group.
55+
56+{{<shot name="stats-groupe" alt="The “Temps avec Alix” panel: fifteen and a quarter hours over the week, split between Balade, Histoires and Jeux, one column for camille and one for sacha." lang={lang} legende="The same screen, for the one subject you wanted to see." />}}
57+
58+The total for the week sits in the chart title, fifteen and a quarter hours
59+here, and the detail reads like anywhere else: tap a segment to see which
60+category, who, how long and over how many entries.
61+
62+## The test before creating a group
63+
64+The Groups section warns you itself that this is rarely needed, and that is
65+true. One question is enough to decide: do you want to know whether that time is
66+fairly shared between you, or simply whether it exists?

5++++
37+
38+{{<extrait name="x-groupe-carte" alt="Card of the “Temps avec Alix” group: three categories, Balade, Histoires and Jeux, each with a cross to remove it from the group." lang={lang} legende="Three categories, one group name, and that is all." />}}
50+
51+{{<shot name="stats" alt="Statistics of the Maison team: the Maison and Temps avec Alix pills at the top, then the weekly charts with the household categories." lang={lang} legende="The team panel, without the subject that took up all the room." />}}
52+
53+The group pill opens a whole panel, with exactly the same charts and the same
54+columns per person, but talking only about the three categories of the group.
55+
56+{{<shot name="stats-groupe" alt="The “Temps avec Alix” panel: fifteen and a quarter hours over the week, split between Balade, Histoires and Jeux, one column for camille and one for sacha." lang={lang} legende="The same screen, for the one subject you wanted to see." />}}
67+
68+Housework belongs to the first question and stays in the team, with the others.
69+Time spent with the child belongs to the second, and lives apart.

8+

72-
73-{{<extrait name="x-invitation" alt="Erhaltene Einladung: „noa lädt dich in das Team Copropriété ein“, mit den Schaltflächen Annehmen und Ablehnen." lang={lang} legende="Diese wartet noch auf meine Antwort." />}}
74-

In
34-gestorben.
35-
36-## Namen sind keine Befehle
37-
38-{{<extrait name="x-todo-carte" alt="Karte einer laufenden Aufgabe: farbiger Punkt der Kategorie, Name der Aufgabe, der Hinweis „übernommen von sacha“ und das Datum." lang={lang} />}}
39-
42-
43-Daran liegt mir viel.
45-erteilen, was uns diese Diskussion erspart.
46-
55-
56-{{<shot name="tache-effectuee" alt="Bildschirm „Aufgabe erledigt“ für „Sortir les poubelles“: Schalter Zeit erfassen mit Minutenzähler, Schalter Neu ansetzen mit vorgeschlagenem Datum und dem Hinweis „beobachteter Rhythmus: etwa alle 8 Tage“." lang={lang} legende="Zwei Vorschläge, und das Recht, beide abzulehnen." />}}
57-
60-rauszubringen verdient keine Zeile.
69-
78-
79-## Was sich wirklich geändert hat
80-

In
34-gestorben.
35-
36-## Namen sind keine Befehle
37-
38-{{<extrait name="x-todo-carte" alt="Karte einer laufenden Aufgabe: farbiger Punkt der Kategorie, Name der Aufgabe, der Hinweis „übernommen von sacha“ und das Datum." lang={lang} />}}
39-
42-
43-Daran liegt mir viel.
45-erteilen, was uns diese Diskussion erspart.
46-
55-
56-{{<shot name="tache-effectuee" alt="Bildschirm „Aufgabe erledigt“ für „Sortir les poubelles“: Schalter Zeit erfassen mit Minutenzähler, Schalter Neu ansetzen mit vorgeschlagenem Datum und dem Hinweis „beobachteter Rhythmus: etwa alle 8 Tage“." lang={lang} legende="Zwei Vorschläge, und das Recht, beide abzulehnen." />}}
57-
60-rauszubringen verdient keine Zeile.
69-
78-
79-## Was sich wirklich geändert hat
80-
90-durchhalten.

56-
57-The first: is it worth an entry? One switch, one minute counter, and the entry

61-
62-The second: does it come back? The application proposes a date, and above all

66-
67-That sentence changes everything, because it can be argued with. You can look

19-
20-## Erster Versuch, erstes Scheitern
21-

52-existieren, weil drei Kategorien ihren Namen trugen.
53-
54-## Was sich am folgenden Sonntag geändert hat

72-
73-Wir haben nichts Spektakuläres beschlossen. Ich habe nur aufgehört, zwischen

24-
25-I started by creating three more categories, Play, Stories and Walks, and by
26-feeding them for a week. Sunday evening's reading was disappointing.
27-
28-The problem was not the numbers, it was the chart. Alix's time lined up next to
29-the cleaning and the groceries, in the same columns, with the same status. Yet

63-
64-Fifteen hours and a quarter. I expected less, and I expected an imbalance in my
65-favour, since I am the one at home during the day. It was the opposite: Sacha,
66-coming home in the evening, went straight to the play mat, while I started a

73-
74-A group does not hide data and does not invent a special kind of category. It
75-answers a question about reading: these hours do not compare to the others, so

23-
44-
45-{{<extrait name="x-groupe-carte" alt="Carte du groupe « Temps avec Alix » : trois catégories, Balade, Histoires et Jeux, chacune avec une croix pour la retirer du groupe." lang={lang} legende="Trois catégories, un nom de groupe, et c'est tout." />}}
46-
57-
58-{{<shot name="stats" alt="Statistiques de l'équipe Maison : les pastilles Maison et Temps avec Alix en haut, puis les graphiques de la semaine avec les catégories du foyer." lang={lang} legende="Le panneau Maison, redevenu lisible." />}}
59-
62-
63-{{<shot name="stats-groupe" alt="Panneau « Temps avec Alix » : quinze heures et quart sur la semaine, réparties entre Balade, Histoires et Jeux, colonne camille et colonne sacha." lang={lang} legende="Quinze heures et quart. Nous ne l'aurions pas deviné." />}}
64-

44-
45-{{<extrait name="x-groupe-carte" alt="Carte du groupe « Temps avec Alix » : trois catégories, Balade, Histoires et Jeux, chacune avec une croix pour la retirer du groupe." lang={lang} legende="Trois catégories, un nom de groupe, et c'est tout." />}}
46-
57-
58-{{<shot name="stats" alt="Statistiques de l'équipe Maison : les pastilles Maison et Temps avec Alix en haut, puis les graphiques de la semaine avec les catégories du foyer." lang={lang} legende="Le panneau Maison, redevenu lisible." />}}
59-
62-
63-{{<shot name="stats-groupe" alt="Panneau « Temps avec Alix » : quinze heures et quart sur la semaine, réparties entre Balade, Histoires et Jeux, colonne camille et colonne sacha." lang={lang} legende="Quinze heures et quart. Nous ne l'aurions pas deviné." />}}
64-
